Phonics Unlimited’ coupled with
Ease into Reading’ makes a powerful intervention that works to eliminate context dependent whole word guessing.

We need to understand that ‘whole language’ in infant grades is developmentally inappropriate.

The latest research (Bruce McCandliss Stanford University) noted that the processes in the brains of whole word processors has a right brain bias. In phonic processors within a split second of beginning to deciphering a word, left brain processes were triggered.

How children are taught to read determines how their brain functions. We need to get it right in the infant grades.

Mission

To reinstate systematic phonics into all infant classrooms throughout the English speaking world. That is, give the greatest number of children to best start in reading, making them fully independent readers and writers.
